Introducing Our Collaborators:
Crissie is an illustrator, textile designer and professional rainbow maker; who loves eclectic interiors, vintage fabric and spending time in the great New Zealand outdoors. Creatively curious by nature, she paints, draws and doodles nearly everyday; creating playful patterns, illustrations and textiles that burst with colour and joy. Her work is inspired by nature, mid-century aesthetics, fashion and her antipodean roots. When she's not designing, you'll find Crissie pottering in her garden, playing with her 3 daughters or sipping hot tea on the deck of her rural Waikato home.
Crissie contributed 2 very popular designs. MONTY inspired from her pet Monstera plant, and BUTTERFLY (a conscious cloth that donates 10% to Forest & Bird.
This is always changing, but at the moment I have Dying to believe by The Beths constantly on repeat.

Favourite Design Creation
I'm always pretty excited whenever I see my work come to life as physical things. At the moment I'm developing a new range of textiles which I'm pretty excited about. The idea for them has been brewing for some time now and it feels great to have some prototypes finally coming together. I'm hoping to have them ready to release for the pre-Christmas market season.

What Is The Weirdest Thing You Own?
I think most of my stuff is pretty typical. But probably the most unusual thing I have are a few original cupie dolls that my grandmother gave me years ago. They're not really my cup of tea, but I can't bear to part with them.
It's a bit goofy, but I secretly love the Bridget Jones movies.
